WRHA QuickCare Clinic

QuickCare Clinics are part of a broader provincial plan to ensure any Manitoban who wants one will have a family doctor by 2015. To do this, Manitoba Health is encouraging more doctors and nurse practitioners to work in the province while also introducing initiatives like QuickCare and mobile clinics in rural communities to offer convenient and timely health care. QuickCare Clinics are staffed by registered nurses and nurse practitioners and are open days, evenings and weekends to help individuals access care when needed.

701 Architecture and IDEATE Design Consulting have teamed to conceive and deliver the next phase of QuickCare Clinics for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Each clinic will be represented by a distinct prairie element with the boreal forest informing the material and colour palette for the first clinic at 620 Dakota.
