Brent is an architect with ten years of professional design and construction documentation experience. His background has seen him practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Vernon, British Columbia. Brent has experience in multiple scales of practice since graduating with his Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba in 2005. Upon graduation, he gained experience working on educational facilities in Black River First Nation, Manitoba and Mosakahiken in northern Manitoba as well as multi-family condominium projects at the Stantec Winnipeg office. He gained further experience in the design of educational facilities working on the Vernon Secondary School while employed at MQN Architects in Vernon, British Columbia.

Brent graduated in 2010 with a Masters of Architecture from the University of Toronto John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design. He was admitted with advanced standing to the program in 2007 and completed his thesis work under the supervision of advisor Brigitte Shim. He has the ability to successfully communicate conceptual design intent to clients and design professionals and translate that intent into successful built work, as evidenced in the successful design and construction of projects on his return to Winnipeg. His work was featured in a Winnipeg Free Press article on the importance of urban infill to the city on July 18, 2011.
